Broadstone has appointed Christopher Rice as a senior actuarial director in its Bristol office. Rice has over 20 years of experience working with UK pension schemes and joins from Capita where he was a senior consultant.
Rice has worked extensively in scheme de-risking and will be spearheading Broadstone’s recently launched corporate consulting proposition. He has been a scheme actuary for over 10 years with experience of advising schemes with a range of asset sizes from below £10m to over £300m.
He is the latest of seven appointments to Broadstone’s advisory team in Bristol over recent months building on the established BBS business which became part of the Broadstone group in 2019.
Broadstone head of consulting Nigel Jones says: “I am delighted to welcome Chris to Broadstone. His experience and enthusiastic attitude will fit in well with the team. We are seeing continued demand for quality pension consulting advice for trustees and corporates and our capabilities will be enhanced further with Chris’ addition.”
