PIB Employee Benefits has appointed Tony Powis as its non-executive chairman.
Powis has held a number of senior positions across the industry over the past 30 years. This includes roles as chairman, chief executive officer and head of sales for a number of financial services firms including Willis Employee Benefits.
Formed in 2016, PIB Employee Benefits, which is part of PIB Group, delivers a range of client-led, consultative solutions across the whole spectrum of employee benefits. Clients range from micro-SME through to large corporates.
This appointment reflects the company’s expansion plans. It has recently acquired both i2 Healthcare and the employee benefits division of Sanlam Wealth Planning UK. PIB says plans to take a more global approach to benefits in future which will be facilitated through increased use of technology.
PIB Employee Benefits managing director David Skinner says that Powis’s experience will help support the senior team in expanding the business, while also providing an additional level of oversight.
