Canada Life UK has appointed Katy Johnston in a newly created role as head of digital transformation.
She will assist the company’s goal of strengthening its position in key markets while also offering a structure that will make it easier to expand into other markets.
Johnston comes from Aviva where she held a number of leadership positions in transformation for both General Insurance and Savings & Retirement. She has a history of completing sizable digital and operational transformation projects that produce quantifiable value, and she is incredibly skilled at improving the digital experience for clients.
Canada Life chief operating officer Caroline Dibbs says: “Katy is joining at such an exciting time for Canada Life and I’m so happy to welcome her to the team. Her knowledge and experience of leading large-scale, complex transformation projects mean she is well placed to hit the ground running as we deliver against our strategic priorities.”
