Punter Southall Governance Services has appointed David Griffiths as a new client director.
Griffiths joins from GSK where he worked as a project consultant for pensions. He has expertise in managing programmes and overseeing company change management initiatives and is also a pension trustee.
He spent 15 years before working at EDG Energy, where he held positions such as financial controller, principal business partner, and programme manager in the areas of pension transition, finance, IT, and shared services.
Griffiths says: “I worked at EDF Energy for many years and am looking forward to now working on a broad portfolio of clients at PSGS. There are major regulatory changes ahead in the world of pensions and governance and I can use my experience and skills to help pension scheme trustees and sponsor companies through these challenges.
PSGS is a growing business with a reputation for providing high-quality services and true professional trustee and pension secretary expertise. I’m really pleased to join the team and start a new stage in my career.”
PSGS CEO Wayne Phelan says: “David will be a great asset to the team. He has broad experience in all aspects of DB and DC pensions, project management, IT and business change as well as being a pension trustee. His knowledge will be invaluable to our clients and the business.”
