Broadstone has appointed Brett Hill and Damon Hopkins to lead its Employee Benefits division.
Hill and Hopkins join Broadstone as head of health & protection and head of defined contribution (DC) workplace savings, respectively.
Hill left Towergate where he oversaw the health & protection distribution division to join Broadstone. He has over 25 years of expertise working with customers to better their own health, welfare, and security as well as that of their businesses and employees.
In the last 14 of his nearly 20 years in the pensions sector, Hopkins has focused on DC. He comes to Broadstone from the DC consulting team of Aon where he served in a multifarious leadership capacity that includes business development, people management, and proposition creation.
The expanded management group will steer Broadstone’s expansion in the area of employee benefits, where the company assists businesses with a variety of services including pension counselling, group life insurance, risk benefits, healthcare plans, and a number of other flexible perks.
Broadstone CEO Tony Gusmao says: “Brett and Damon bring a wealth of employee benefits experience to the team. In Broadstone, they are joining a business with a vibrant history of over 40 years with the combined expertise of over 500 consultants and administrators, and ambitious plans for the future.”
Hill says: “Broadstone is a business with a rich heritage, consistent track record of growth and an outstanding approach to consultancy-led client delivery. I look forward to working with Damon to lead the team into an exciting new stage of growth.”
Hopkins says: “Broadstone’s workplace saving team helps an impressive array of clients create long-term financial security for their employees. The Group has strong foundations for growth and I’m keen to help Tony, Brett and the team capitalise on the many attractive opportunities in an ever-changing environment.”
