XTP has appointed David Bennett, former board member and head of investment consulting at Redington, as a non-executive director and senior advisor.
Bennett worked with Redington for almost 13 years, contributing significantly to the company’s development from a start-up to one of the top investment consulting businesses in the UK. As a senior consultant, Bennett provided advice to some of the largest and most sophisticated pension funds in the UK. He was also a board member, head of research, and chair of Redington’s investment strategy committee.
Prior to joining Redington, he worked for Goldman Sachs for 24 years, serving as a trustee and member of the investment committee of the Goldman Sachs defined benefit pension fund for seven of those years while providing advice to UK pension funds and insurance firms.
