The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions has reappointed two non-executive directors to the board of The Pensions Regulator (TPR).
Katie Kapernaros and Chris Morson will be reappointed as non-executive directors for an additional four years, beginning on April 1, 2024, according to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Their initial tenure in the position is set to expire on March 31, 2024. Morson will continue to serve as the committee’s chair for audit, risk, and assurance at TPR.
TPR chair Sarah Smart says: “I am delighted that Katie and Chris have been reappointed. They both have a diverse combination of background and skills that will be really important for us as we develop the next phase of our Corporate Strategy and progress our journey to becoming a data-led and digitally enabled regulator.”
Kapernaros says: “I am very happy to be appointed for another term at TPR. We have much to do in the transformation and value-for-money space, and I look forward to continuing to add my experience to the great mix of skills we have on the board.”
Morson says: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to continue to serve on the TPR board. I’ll be focussed on helping TPR become more digitally and service focussed to deliver value for money as part of its corporate objectives.”
