Daniel Meehan, director of proposition and development, has departed from Cushon and has not yet disclosed his next career move.
In a LinkedIn post, Meehan said: “During my time there we expanded from workplace ISAs into workplace pensions, growing from £10m to over £2bn in assets under management.
“We acquired three master trusts and transitioned from being a plucky startup to a business supported with the firepower of one of the UK’s largest financial institutions, Natwest.”
Meehan is experienced in consulting, sales, and proposition development, and has worked across various sectors including fintech, BPO, multinational pensions, employee benefits businesses, and Big 4 accountancy firms.
He joined Cushon as head of workplace savings in 2020 and progressed to proposition & development director in 2022. Prior to that, he was at Capita for five years where he was most recently head of sales.
He also held other roles at the company including head of London DC and head of financial wellbeing. Meehan started his career at KPMG as an associate consultant and was at the company for 5 years before moving to WTW.
Meehan’s skills encompass pensions and HR consulting, effective sales strategies, adept management, and inspirational leadership.
