Towergate Health & Protection has appointed Diane Whalley to be the new business development manager for its group risk department.
In this role Whalley will manage the desk-based group risk adviser team helping them to grow the business through new clients and recruitment. She will also provide management support to David Williams, head of group risk, through new business initiatives, people development and process efficiencies.
Whalley has more than 30 years’ experience in the employee benefits industry and joins from Mercer Marsh Benefits. She has also previously worked at Bupa and Friends Life, and through these roles has extensive experience in managing both client portfolios and people.
