The Independent Governance Group (IGG) welcomed 12 new members during December and January.
Mark Engelbretson, a trustee director, is one of the new hires. He comes to IGG from Network Rail, where he worked for seven years as the director of pensions, including several years as the trustee director of Railpen.
Susan Barber, a new associate director who has over 20 years of pension experience, is also joining IGG. She formerly worked with ITS as a senior trust officer for many years.
Katherine Kitt joins as trustee manager after holding several managerial positions in internal pension plans. Associate Andrew Davy, assistant associates James Lee and Sylvia Okolie, and senior associate Eleanor Rowe have also joined the group.
In addition to this, IGG also welcomed five people to their business services teams who will be providing central support services.
IGG has added more than 60 new members since it was incorporated in February 2023. This year it has opened its Manchester office, as well as acquired Edinburgh-based oversight and selection specialists IC Select.
