Broadstone has appointed Deon Dreyer to its consulting & actuarial division as an investment director in the investment consulting team in London.
Dreyer recently led Ortec Finance’s Climate and ESG business in the UK and oversaw the development of the company’s Climate and ESG solution into a fully developed product.
Previously, Dreyer worked at AON, Barclays, and Insight Investment. He also held leadership positions in investment consulting at PwC and Quantum Advisory.
Dreyer will use his unique ESG knowledge in his new role at Broadstone to assist both current and potential clients. Broadstone says this is especially important because the ESG environment is becoming more and more complex.
His duties will include supporting Broadstone’s recently launched carbon footprint solution, which helps companies evaluate, track, and create long-term reduction plans for their carbon footprints.
Broadstone head of investment consulting Marc Devereux says: “He has great experience leading successful teams and his expertise in the ESG sector will be invaluable to our new and existing clients as we continue to develop our capabilities in this area.”
Dreyer says: “As ESG has risen up the agenda in the investment consulting sector, I have developed a proven track record of exploring innovative approaches to help boards meet their objectives.”
