Aon has appointed 10 new UK-based partners in wealth solutions within the firm’s human capital capability.

The new partners are Lynette Brown, Sarah Butlin, Hannah Carter, Helen Hatt, Daniel Haxby, Colin High, Ross Mitchell, Derry Pickford, Michael Walker and Craig Watson.

Brown, a senior leader in Aon’s GMP equalisation team and a member of the trustee consulting leadership team, has 25 years of experience. She oversees all operational aspects of the team, including client delivery for Aon and managing a multidisciplinary team across multiple geographies.

Leading Aon’s governance team, Butlin is a client manager with more than 35 years of expertise in pension consulting. She works with pension scheme trustee boards to improve their effectiveness and progress in equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Carter is a member of the leadership team of the UK chief commercial officer and serves as chief of staff for UK investment. She oversees all areas of the UK investment business’s governance and reporting and leads internal and external communications as well as client care strategies.

Hatt oversees Aon’s International Retirement Savings Plan (IRSP) services. He has over 25 years of expertise and is the chair of the International Operational Committee for United Pensions.

Haxby, a senior leader in Aon’s Risk & Modelling team, is an expert in journey planning and endgame objectives.

High is scheme actuary to seven pension schemes across varying industry sectors, providing expert strategic advice to ensure their objectives are met. He also leads Aon’s team addressing the non-investment issues related to climate change risk.

Mitchell is a leader in Aon’s investment practice in the UK with 15 years’ experience in the pensions industry. In addition to advising a portfolio of clients on all aspects of investment strategy and management, he specialises in supporting clients on their derisking journeys and on their approach to the bulk annuity market.

Pickford is the head of Asset Allocation at Aon where he advises globally on over $4 trillion of assets. He has been at Aon for seven years and has over 24 years’ experience in financial markets.

Walker is a senior member of Aon’s UK risk settlement group and a founding member of Aon’s Journey to Settlement team. He advises clients on their de-risking strategies and executing bulk annuity transactions (buy-ins and buyouts).

Watson manages a team of lead consultants advising on innovative investment solutions. He has a wide-ranging portfolio of corporate and trustee-defined benefit pension scheme clients, as well as advising sovereign wealth.
