Aon has promoted Julie Page to be the CEO of Europe, Middle East and Africa region — which will now also includes the UK.
Page was already the CEO of the Aon UK but will take responsibility for the enlarged group from November 15, following a corporate reorganisations.
Aon said it is bringing together its client-service capability and operations of both its EMEA and UK divisions. With this transition, current EMEA CEO Eduardo Dávila will be departing the firm at the end of 2023.
Aon president Eric Anderson said that operating as one region will simplify Aon’s organisational structure, accelerate the company’s growth strategy while helping them serve clients better.
Anderson says: “With more than 30 years of experience spanning our risk capital and human capital capabilities, [Page] is well positioned to partner with leaders in the region to deliver on our 3×3 Plan and further develop leading colleague and client experiences.”
Andersen added, “We are very grateful to [Dávila] for his contributions to Aon and for leading and inspiring colleagues to deliver outstanding results. During his distinguished tenure, Eduardo served as a tireless champion of our firm across Iberia and EMEA and he leaves the region in a position of strength, to capitalize on growth opportunities and scale Aon United solutions.”
