AXA Health’s menopause service, initially launched for corporate clients last year, is now available to all members, including individuals and SMEs, providing support throughout their menopause journey.
The service connects members with qualified menopause consultants who have received certification from the British menopausal Society (BMS). There are no additional costs for this help for members with outpatient coverage.
Members can also access information, wellbeing support, and online appointments with GPs trained in menopause care via a 24/7 phone line.
AXA Health marketing & proposition director Andy McClure says: “Whether you’re going through the menopause yourself, or trying to support someone you care about, it can have a significant impact on many aspects of your life.
“We believe the varied services available to our members offer a range of mind and body support, enabling them to feel informed and supported and able to choose the tools more suited to them. We’re working to ensure health support for women is not just an optional extra and is recognised and delivered in the way any other treatment would be.
“We’re proud to be making life simpler for our members, with advice available around the clock, and access to specialist menopause support as standard.”
