More than 60 graduates and apprentices have joined Barnett Waddingham this year across a range of business areas.
In total Barnett Waddingham has welcomed 53 graduates and 15 apprentices to its early careers intake. The graduates are employed across its actuarial consulting, employer consulting, insurance & longevity, investment consulting, public sector consulting, pensions executive and management and pension administration divisions.
The majority of the apprentices joined BW’s pension administration team.
Graduate schemes are extremely competitive and to support the next generation and attract a diverse calibre of talented candidates, BW says it has invested significant resources in its training programmes.
All joiners will be fully supported in their development and training with a mixture of virtual and in-person training.
BW senior partner Andrew Vaughan says: “We provide a vast array of opportunities at BW for those starting their career, from actuarial to administration to IT as well as our secretarial teams. This variety of career opportunities continues to encourage diversity into financial services through all our early careers programmes.
“While taking an inclusive approach with our recruitment we can provide a platform for the brightest and best talent from numerous fields and backgrounds to ensure multiplicity of thought.
“Our future growth and continued success depend on recruiting and training new talent at all levels and I am excited to see what the next generation brings to BW.”
