Aviva announces today that LGIM’s former head of DC Emma Douglas has been appointed managing director, workplace savings.
Douglas, who has presided over a significant expansion of Legal & General’s DC book in recent years, will report to Rob Barker, Managing Director, UK Savings & Retirement.
Douglas has over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to her role at Legal & General, she was partner and head of workplace savings at Mercer and head of DC sales at BlackRock.
Barker says: “I am delighted that Emma is joining Aviva to lead our highly-successful Workplace Savings business. We see big opportunities to continue to grow our business and Emma’s knowledge and experience in the market will further strengthen our team.”
Douglas says: “I’m delighted to join Aviva and look forward to leading the Workplace Savings team, which is a recognised leader in the sector and delivered strong net flows in 2020.”
