Broadstone has appointed Chris Rice as head of trustee services.
Rice has worked for Broadstone for the past two years at the Bristol office as a senior actuarial director and had 15 years of experience.
The duties of trustees include ongoing scheme administration, governance, and investment as well as planning and securing the scheme with an insurance provider.
As part of Broadstone’s larger consulting and actuarial division, Rice’s new position will see him overseeing the company’s trustee offering.
Broadstone head of trustee services Chris Rice says: “The landscape for Trustees is evolving rapidly and maturing in a complex economic environment. Now, more than ever, Trustees need clear advice to help reach their strategic goals and protect the benefits of their members.
“The demands on Trustees are wide-ranging – from day-to-day investment and funding to achieving buy-out – and I am excited to provide an ever-increasing level of advisory support in this area, complementing our award-winning administration service.
Broadstone head of consulting & actuarial Nigel Jones says: “Chris has been an integral member of our team for the past two years and was instrumental in the development of both our Sirius software and SM&RT Insure proposition. His sector expertise will be invaluable in directly addressing the needs of Trustees moving forward.
“We have progressed a number of exciting technological and product developments over the past year giving Chris a fantastic platform to continue executing our strategy and delivering an outstanding service to Trustees.”
