Bupa UK Insurance has launched a package of new propositions under the label of Inclusive Health, for its UK corporate customers.

Women’s health, sexual health, and neurodiversity are only a few of the many health issues that are addressed by the new proposals.

The new ideas add to Bupa’s already wide array of all-inclusive health advantages. The gender dysphoria proposition that Bupa presently offers is best in class and provides employees with complete assistance during their transition, including gender reassignment surgery.

Additionally, it offers parents and caregivers quick access to mental health treatment through its Family Mental Healthline as well as assisted fertility services including fertility testing and egg freezing benefits.

The Bupa Academy for Health and Wellbeing, which provides business clients and intermediary partners with free training and materials on subjects like women’s health, neurodiversity, and gender dysphoria, is a support system for Bupa’s Inclusive Health package.

Bupa UK Insurance General Manager of General Manager of Business and Specialist Products Richard Norris says: “We at the forefront of an inclusive health revolution; providers and insurers are now tailoring benefits to the needs of their individual customers. These offer a fresh approach to workplace health, where individuals are supported to reach their full potential, and benefits reflect the breadth and diversity of the workforces they serve.”

According to the most recent statistics from Bupa’s Wellbeing Index, a strong strategy for talent recruitment and retention in a competitive market is a focus on employee health and wellbeing. More than half (53%) of workers feel they are more likely to choose to work for an organisation that offers good health and wellbeing benefits. A third of employees (33%) believe their employers have a responsibility to promote their health and wellbeing. Additionally, one in five people have already moved jobs in order to obtain better perks.

Norris added: “As businesses face a challenging year ahead, winning the war on talent will be critical to success. Employers should be investing in workplace health and wellbeing solutions that meet the needs of their individual employees. We strongly believe that inclusive health and wellbeing is now a critical part of the business agenda and want to support employers in building these kinds of wellbeing strategies.”
