Corporate Adviser editor John Greenwood was named Business to Business Journalist of the Year at the Headline Money awards last night, taking home an award from the event for the seventh time in 10 years.
The Awards Ceremony, held at The Brewery in London last night and chaired by actor Kerry Godliman, played host to several hundred finance journalists.
The Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year award was won by Fidelity International with Teamspirit for Global Women & Money Study – breaking down financial barriers around the world.
Lansons won PR Agency of the Year, while Hargreaves Lansdown’s Susannah Streeter was named Expert of the Year.
Headline Money is considered the leading award in the personal finance journalism sector, with judges drawn from across national and trade media, PR companies and providers.
Judges said: “John’s work demonstrates the fundamental value that the trade press represents for society – he’s doing the job journalists are supposed to do.
“The authority with which he writes is demonstrated by his stories often being used by regulators and the national press”.
Greenwood said: “I’m very grateful to the judging panel for picking me for this award. It means a lot to be recognised in the Headline Money Awards, which are the leading awards in the financial journalism sector.”
