Cardano has appointed Guinevere Taylor to the new role of head of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Relationships.

Guinevere joins Cardano from RBC BlueBay Asset Management, where she worked in distribution for the past six years.

Taylor worked for Legal and General Investment Management for four years as a member of the LGPS Relationship Team before joining RBC BlueBay.

She has also served as an ambassador for the Diversity Project for the past six years, advocating for the value of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the financial services sector.

Taylor says: “I’m excited to be taking on the role of Head of LGPS Relationships at Cardano. Over the past ten years working with the LGPS, I have seen how it is constantly evolving and is an exciting sector to work with.

“The Cardano brand is one which is already strongly associated with sustainable investing, with a particular focus on biodiversity, social and impact investments, as well as climate. This represents a clear and strong affinity with the LGPS sector, and I’m looking forward to getting started and building Cardano’s offer and presence in this market.”

Cardano head of business development Sasha Mandich says: “The LGPS is an exciting market for us, representing schemes with high growth allocations, long investment horizons, and a strong focus on sustainability.

“These features are well aligned with Cardano’s own investment capabilities, from sustainable equities to private credit. Guin brings with her a wealth of experience within the LGPS market, which will undoubtedly enhance Cardano’s reputation and presence in the sector.”
