Cartwright has appointed Yona Chesner as head of investment in the North and senior investment consultant.
Chesner, who is based in Manchester, will oversee the company’s new Northern presence and spearhead corporate growth. His appointment comes after the recent hiring of Barry Widdows as Southwest lead in 2023 and Senior Investment Consultant.
Previously, Chesner shaped investing strategies as a director at Isio. He worked with Deloitte for more than 11 years, rising from senior consultant to director while developing his knowledge of financial consulting services and investment management.
Cartwright director of investment consulting Sam Roberts says: “2023 was another incredibly busy year for the industry and Cartwright was at the forefront. We experienced strong business growth across all our services, most notably in project administration and regional demand. Regional presence across the UK is something we are dedicated to, and we have invested in heavily. It’s key for us to have a foothold close to our clients and continued expansion is in line with our business objectives.
“Yona has extensive experience and a proven track record of delivering for clients. This will be invaluable in enhancing the tailored solutions we offer our clients across the UK. We are delighted to start 2024 with this fantastic appointment, and we welcome him to the team.”
Chesner added: “Cartwright has a first-class reputation in the industry for the unique bespoke client services and their member-focused approach. Their growth in recent years has been notable and I am really pleased to bring my expertise to such a progressive and ambitious team and drive the expansion in the North.”
