Cushon has appointed Jo Bean as chief people officer.

Bean brings over 20 years of HR experience to Cushon’s leadership team, having previously held senior HR positions at Samsung Electronics UK and Thomsons Online Benefits.

Bean’s responsibilities will include ensuring that Cushon’s values are embedded throughout the company, championing and promoting strong diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Cushon CEO and co-founder Ben Pollard says: “Cushon’s goal is to accelerate the use of technology and innovation in the UK workplace savings and pensions sector and critical to this success is our extremely talented, and growing, team.

“We’ve just completed our fourth acquisition in 12 months and subsequently doubled our employee numbers. In her new role as Chief People Officer, Jo will ensure we are supporting and developing our people to be at their best and help instil our company values across the growing business. She brings a tremendous wealth of experience in the HR space and her appointment is absolutely key to helping us deliver on our ambitious growth targets. I look forward to working with her in this important new role.”

Bean says: “I’m excited to have joined the Cushon family at such an exciting time. I’ve worked with Cushon as a client for four years and am delighted to now be able to work with the team on all things related to culture and people.

“I’ll be supporting Cushon in delivering its strategic objectives and to help the business grow even further over the coming years – with a focus on a values-based engagement approach which is about the team working, living and breathing our Cushon values. I’ll be designing and delivering programmes and initiatives that support each and every Cushoneer, helping them to grow further and develop along the way.”
