Healix Health Services has announced a partnership with Incorpore, a leading health and wellbeing firm that offers discount schemes and wellness programmes to help employees improve their physical and mental health.
Incorpore, as one of the UK’s major health and wellness networks, assists over 2,000 companies in the UK and Ireland in providing vital health and fitness benefits to their employees, including reduced gym memberships through MyGymDiscounts.
Healix will offer Incorpore’s fitness services to its members as part of the partnership, assisting employers in retaining their current workforce – employees who have access to health and wellness benefits are happier, healthier, and more productive, and this can increase employee engagement by more than a quarter or 25 per cent. Employers who promote regular exercise and provide access to wellness facilities are better suited to recruit and retain talent, with nearly 69 per cent preferring a job opportunity that offers superior perks.
Healix Health Services CEO Ian Talbot says: “Helping employees with their wellbeing is not only the right thing to do, making them happier and healthier, it also has undeniable business benefits. Physical and mental health play a huge role in how engaged and productive people are at work, and in turn this impacts profitability. Helping our clients do just that has always been our core aim, so our partnership with Incorpore is very well matched.
“With their extensive experience working with thousands of employers and serving over 6.5 million employees across the UK, Incorpore have stayed true to its long-standing commitment to creating a fitter, happier and more productive workforce. The team really understands the importance of healthy employees in boosting business productivity and attracting talent, success and growth and we look forward to seeing the positive impact that their services will have on our clients.”
Incorpore managing director James Shillaker says: “The pandemic has shed some light on the importance of regular exercise for employee health and wellbeing and with many employees now returning to work, and companies permanently switching between hybrid working models, it’s crucial for employers to provide flexible options to access gyms and fitness facilities both near homes and workplaces.
“It’s great to see our vision align with that of Healix to deliver a company wellness programme which encompasses physical and mental health to as many employees as possible so that more companies can foster a healthier, happier and more productive workforce.”
