Health Shield has restructured its sales team and appointed Jason Dunks as its new sales director.
The restructure enables the friendly society to offer an enhanced service to its intermediary partners, and focus on workplace wellbeing consultancy support.
Health Shield will now have five regional sales teams, each of which will have an office-based account manager and a business relationship manager in the field. This will give intermediaries a dedicated point of contact with Health Shield.
The restructure will also support Health Shield’s new strategic direction focused on providing preventative workplace health and wellbeing solutions, including workplace health screening, occupational health and stress intervention programmes.
The new sales structure will be rolled out to intermediaries over the next few months.
Dunks has been interim sales director at Health Shield since July 2019; prior to this we was director of Medex Protect, a specialist private medical insurance excess and protection firm, which was acquired by Health Shield in 2017.
Dunks has also previously worked for Bupa and Chase Templeton.
