IFM Investors has appointed Neil Macdonald as the head of operations in the global client solutions team.
The appointment will take effect on December 4, 2023. Macdonald, who will be based in London, will answer to IFM’s Head of Global Client Solutions, John Gee-Grant. Macdonald will be in charge of developing and putting into action a top-tier operating model for the service and sales departments of IFM.
He has held roles at BlackRock, JP Morgan, and most recently, State Street, Macdonald and has experience in the asset management industry. Macdonald has also held top positions at NatWest Bank, Barclays Bank, and KPMG Advisory.
Other noteworthy recent hires to IFM Investors’ worldwide client solutions team include Armit Bhambra, who leads Europe, and Peter Swarbreck, who leads Asia.
IFM Investors, a global private markets specialist, manages funds invested on behalf of working people in essential societal assets such as toll roads, airports, seaports, and renewable energy producers.
