Dan Melley has rejoined Mercer, where he will take on the role as UK commercial lead of investment solutions.
Melley previously worked for Mercer for 17 years, and led the launch of its investment solutions business in the UK, overseeing its development into a $20bn business.
For the previous three years he has worked for Putnam Investment, were he was head of its Europe, Middle East and Africa division and responsible for its institutional client base.
In his new role Melley will report into Mercer’s global commercial leader of investment solutions, Mick Dempsey. He will also join the firm’s UK leadership team led by UK chief executive, Sylvia Pozezanac.
Melley says: ““Mercer has continued to grow and innovate in the fiduciary management market, providing effective solutions to meet UK pension schemes’ challenges.
“Its ability to provide tailored investment solutions has seen its client base increase, not only within the pensions industry, but also across a wider asset-owner market which includes insurers and wealth management. I’m delighted to be re-joining the team and look forward to continuing to drive its success.”
