MetLife UK approved and disbursed over £22 million in claims during 2023.
On average, 95 claims for illnesses and accidents were paid out each day. Around 12,949 claims were for hospitalisations, and 9,561 claims were for hospital stays relating to diabetes, asthma, and broken bones.
MetLife typically processes claims, providing payments within 3-5 working days. The company covers incidents such as motorbike accidents and sports injuries, focusing on efficiency. MetLife emphasises innovation to adapt to evolving demands, with a commitment to improving processes and products for modern families and individuals.
