Nuffield Health has appointed Wouter Van den Brande and James Murray as chief strategy and development officer and chief commercial officer, respectively.
Van den Brande, who has held a number of senior positions in commercial, quality, and operations across Nuffield Health, will assume responsibility for a portfolio that includes strategy, data and analytics, and corporate growth.
Meanwhile, Murray will oversee business-wide propositions, trade, and sales.
Nuffield Health chief executive Steve Gray says: “I’m thrilled to announce the appointments and promotions of two colleagues who have made substantial contributions to the success of the Nuffield Health in their time with us.
“2023 will be another important year for Nuffield Health as we drive forward with our ambitious plans to help build a healthier nation. Wouter and James will play an important role in developing and enhancing the Charity’s offering, driving forward our ambition to reach more people, including those living in disadvantaged communities.”

We have a huge ambition to grow the reach of the Charity whilst making sure we offer health and wellbeing solutions for people from across society. Nuffield Health has a key role to play in making the nation healthier and I’m delighted to lead an expert team in making sure this happens.”
Van den Brande says: “I am delighted to have been asked to join the Executive team. I believe Nuffield Health has a vital role in making the nation fitter, healthier and happier, and I am looking forward to continuing to drive the Charity forward in my new role.”
