The Menopause Advice Hub from Nuffield Health has been launched, and it includes a variety of tools to help people who are going through perimenopausal, menopausal, or post-menopausal symptoms.

The content hub offers resources on all facets of menopause, including the physical and psychological symptoms as well as suggestions for how to approach the subject with experts, close friends and family, and coworkers.

The Menopause Advice Hub at Nuffield Health includes resources such as articles on symptoms and treatments, suggestions for self-care practises, and even online exercises that can assist people in forming good habits that will enhance their physical and emotional wellbeing.

In Nuffield Health’s Not just “women’s issues” webinar, the information centre also provides guidance for employers and workers on handling menopause at work. This expert panel discussion offers guidance on striking up dialogues, forming wholesome habits, and creating useful company policies.

Nuffield Health national lead for emotional wellbeing says Gosia Bowling: “Nuffield Health has long aimed to support menopausal individuals with advice and formal recommendations, and we’re delighted to bring these together in our new Menopause Advice Hub. Reducing stigma, driving normalisation and encouraging conversations is not only key to helping those experiencing the uncomfortable symptoms of menopause but also for businesses to retain and better support employees.

“According to Nuffield Health’s research, 20 per cent of women have had time off work due to menopause symptoms and one-third of women (34 per cent) have needed health advice for menstrual issues or issues around menopause. This Figure rises to 43 per cent for women aged between 45 and 54.

“These are employees who are at the top of their game and we need to retain this talent. With one in four menopausal individuals considering giving up their roles due to menopause side-effects, it’s important businesses create offerings based on learnings and research to create an environment that recognises these experiences and provides the right support to enable them to thrive and reach their full potential”
