Pi Partnership has appointed John Cooper to its board, as the non-executive chair.
Cooper has held a number of senior roles in the industry, as chief operating officer at Alexander Forbes and chief executive of employee benefits at Marsh.
Cooper has worked with the board at Pi as a consultant for the past 18 months.
Pi founding partner Julia Tyrrell says that Cooper will bring a “wealth of industry experience” to the role. She adds: “His governance background coupled with his commercial expertise will support our ongoing development plans as a firm.”
Cooper says: “Having worked closely with the Pi board, I am honoured to be asked to chair the board of this enterprising and innovative organisation. I look forward to helping Pi continue to build upon their growth and maintain their ethos of independence and professionalism of service.”
