Premier Choice Healthcare (PCH) has continued on its acquisition trail with the purchase of Brighton-based intermediary Healthcover.
PCH says this latest deal with strengthen its position in international PMI market. It is the tenth acquisition since PCH – an intermediary hub – became part of Brown & Brown Europe in 2020. PCH has acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of the firm for an undisclosed sum.
Healthcover writes personal and business PMI and specialises in international health cover for UK-based customers.
PCH managing director Stephen Hough says:“The addition of Healthcover to the PCH portfolio will support our strategic ambitions for the UK, but crucially also provides us with expansion and experience in the International PMI market, which we see as a major opportunity for the business.”
Healthcover MD James Dwyer adds: “We are excited to join the team at PCH as it will give each of us the opportunity to broaden our reach and client base within a business that is forward-thinking and innovative.”
The Healthcover team will become part of PCH across the UK, with its two directors joining PCH as international PMI consultant (James Dwyer) and business healthcare consultant (Shaun Hart). T
Jo Walbrin and Rachael Bown will join PCH’s consumer specialist division, Equity Health Solutions.
