Redington has appointed Gavin Howard as chief financial officer and executive director to its board.
Howard has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held senior executive positions at companies like Partnership Assurance and Octopus Lifestyle. He has served as CFO at both IFG Group and Nucleus Financial.
Howard will join the business on 1 September. He will also be a part of the leadership team, which includes CEO Sylvia Pozezanac, deputy CEO Zoe Taylor, and chief people officer Katherine FitzGerald.
Pozezanac says: “I am so pleased to welcome Gavin to Redington. His years of experience as a CFO and strong track record in business strategy make him the perfect addition to the Redington Leadership Team and Board.
“We are proud to attract outstanding talent like Gavin across the organisation as we continue our journey as an industry leader.”
Howard says: “Redington has built up a strong reputation as a purpose-driven business that puts its clients’ and employees’ interests front and centre. Having stepped away from corporate life earlier this year, the opportunity to join Sylvia and the rest of the Redington team on their journey was too good to pass up.
“I look forward to working alongside the existing Leadership Team and Board and helping deliver on the firm’s ambitious plans.”
