Benefiz founder and Director Tim Gillingham says the appointments have been made in response to strong demand from SME employers looking for outsourced employee benefit services at a reasonable cost.
Benefiz was name Small Firm of the Year at the Corporate Adviser Awards 2018.
Bowman will be managing a portfolio of clients and Brown will be running and developing the firm’s Fizselect benefits platform.
Gillingham says: “ At the end of our second year our number of clients and income has doubled proving it is possible to operate profitably in this market. It is also interesting to note that over 50 per cent of our clients are located in the South East and not the South West where we are based. This highlights the ability to service clients using a remote model keeping our costs to a minimum and offering excellent value of money to our clients.
“Our expansion is reflected elsewhere in the market, such as the recent launch of Beneficia by Alan Fergusson to take advantage of this growing market.”
