XPS Pensions Group has appointed Jo Carter as a partner in its growing risk settlement team.
Carter joins XPS Pensions Group after working with Mercer for 25 years, where she specialised in risk settlement for most of her career.
She has provided advice on buy-in and buyout projects for schemes of various kinds, including transactions over £1bn that involved several multinational corporations and FTSE 100 customers.
Carter will lead buy-in and buyout transactions at XPS Pensions Group and assist customers with designing their strategic end-game journeys.
Carter is the most recent member of XPS Pensions Group’s expanding risk settlement team. The company recently named Stephen Purves as head of risk settlement to manage the expansion of XPS Pensions Group’s market presence.
