XPS has handed the role of head of covenant advisory to Arabella Slinger, taking over from Paul Jameson, who will move to a role delivering specialist covenant advice.
Jameson had led the XPS/Penfida covenant team since XPS acquired Penfida in September 2022.
The business advises over 150 clients as is responsible for in excess of £300bn of assets.
Slinger previously worked for Merrill Lynch and joined Penfida in 2006.
XPS head of advisory Patrick McCoy says: “We are delighted to announce that Arabella will be leading our covenant team with her unique experience and wealth of expertise and knowledge. Regulatory changes and the new funding requirements mean that covenant advice has becomes more important than ever for all UK private sector UK pension schemes.”
