Zedra has acquired BNP Paribas Jersey Trust Corporation Limited.

Zedra’s largest office, with more than a hundred coworkers, is located in Jersey where the firm provides a range of services for businesses, individuals, and fund promoters.

BNP Paribas Jersey Trust Corporation Limited provides individualised trustee and fiduciary services to its clients. The company has also worked as a trustee for institutional private equity and real estate funds for more than ten years.

The news comes in the wake of a string of purchases made by Zedra over the past 12 months, including those of PTL, Axelia Partners, BFCS, the fund and corporate services division of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, Atlas Fund Services, Caledonian Trustees Limited, and AlleyBe.

Zedra head of channel islands Steven Bowen says: “This acquisition gives us a significant opportunity to broaden Zedra’s capabilities in the Channel Islands, adding to our fast-growing market position. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new colleagues and look forward to them being part of the ZEDRA family.”

Zedra chief executive officer Ivo Hemelraad says: “Zedra is enjoying a successful and incredibly exciting year so far and the firm has the capacity to continue to grow exponentially, supported by our growing team of experts.

“We are delighted to complete the acquisition of BNP Paribas Jersey Trust Corporation Limited, a jurisdiction which we value immensely and have seen tremendous innovation over recent years. We are looking forward to working closely with BNP Paribas as we continue to look for new opportunities to broaden our offering to current clients and tap into exciting new markets.”
